"We've gone a couple of times and I think it's the best indoor playspace there is (and so do my kids). It's the best place for moms too! You can sit, drink tea and eat homemade bread smothered in whipped honey while you talk. What more could we ask for?”

“I would also like to put in a good word for the Magic Acorn. My son Declan LOVES his class there. We used to do the wed morning drop in routinely (very reasonable and flexible -- and fun). Now, he is signed up for an official class on Tuesday mornings. Amy is very creative and nurturing. She serves home baked bread to the kids and sings songs. Truly wonderful”  Laura

“I just wanted to let people know of a great experience that I had today at the The Magic Acorn. It was the Haiti fundraiser and I decided to go to the drop in time between 9:30-2. It was my first time there, but I had heard about it from a couple of people. I have two young children (2 years and 4 months) and sometimes I feel overwhelmed about adventures out of the house with both. This was such a wonderful place to go and let my two year old run free with other children and so nice for me to talk with other moms. The owner, Amy had tea for us (someone actually pored me tea and I drank it before it was cold!!!) The toys are all natural and organic type materials that just allow for a lot of imagination. My son was "cooking", playing the piano, running in circles in the open room, and more. It was perfect for us and I plan to go to more of the open play times that are on Wednesdays. In the winter staying in can be sooooooo hard, but this really felt like a treat. Thanks Amy!”
